City of Carbondale Police Pension Board of Trustees met Aug. 16.

3. MINUTES - Reading and approval of the minutes for the July 19, 2022 meeting.

4. CORRESPONDENCE

A) Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation

6. TREASURER’S REPORT - Jeffrey Davis

7. INVESTMENT REPORT - Patrick Donnelly of Graystone Consulting

8. OLD BUSINESS

A) Confirm completion of mandatory trustee training for 2022.

B) Review and approve Annual Statement, Interrogatories and Audit to be filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance no later than October 30, 2022 (no extensions will be granted by IDOI). Filing must also include copies of Collective Bargaining Agreement, minutes from all meetings, training certificates for all trustees and other required documents.

C) Discuss Samuel Tyner portability of creditable service from Carterville Police Pension Fund to Carbondale Police Pension Fund, if received.

D) Review status of Daniel Rice annual disability review.

E) Discuss remaining issues, if any, regarding transfer of investment portfolio to IPOPIF scheduled for September 1, 2022.

F) Verify Cash Balances in local checking account to pay beneficiaries and bills.

G) Confirm preparation of cash flow spread sheet and other documents for IPOPIF.

9. NEW BUSINESS

A) Discuss officer now working for Sheriff’s Department who wants to transfer creditable service with the Carbondale Police Department and the pension to IMRF-SLEP (PA 102-1061).

B) Discuss and possible action on Justin Taylor request for transfer of contributions to SERS.

C) Discuss moving September 20, 2022 meeting to September 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
