A. INVOICES

1) Approve Invoice 198311 to iWorq for $11,500, for our annual community development software renewal. (Building and Code Services)

2) Approve the purchase of a new microfilm machine for $10,179, using funds provided by the Peterson Trust; pending Library Board of Trustee approval. (Marion Carnegie Library)

3) Approve Governmental Consulting Solutions, Inc. invoice 5916 for $3,000 for consulting services for August 2022.

4) Approve the purchase of a 16' tilt deck trailer for the Street Department from Ben's Lawn Service for $11,262; a budgeted item.

B. EMPLOYMENT

1) HUB RECREATION CENTER

Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Leslie Samples as part-time Lifeguard $12.00/hour.

2) MARION CULTURAL AND CIVIC CENTER

Approve the recommendation of the Executive Director to hire Sally Hope and Peter Delaney to open part time Custodian positions at $12/hour.

1) Discuss/Approve minutes from the July 25, 2022 council meeting.

A. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of Chief Fitts to hire Larry Fone as a school security officer at the agreed upon pay rate between Marion Unit 2 schools and the City of Marion.

B. Discuss/Approve the donation of two decommissioned squad cars to the Mobile Training Unit 15 and SIU for use in the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course for Law Enforcement.
