In a June 7 Facebook post, Sen. Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) announced several coffee and conversation events.

"We are offering several opportunities in the near future to discuss issues of importance to all in the 58th District. I hope to see you at one of these upcoming events," Bryant posted.

The events will be: June 14 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Marissa Public Library, 212 N. Main St., in Marissa; June 15 from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at Reid's Harvest House, 2440 State Street, in Chester; and June 15, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Alongi's Italian Restaurant, 18 W. Main St., in Du Quoin.

In May, she cheered the students in her Youth Advisory Council members. "This won't be the last time you see the young people from my Youth Advisory Council," Bryant wrote in the tweet. "I believe one or more of this crew will be our future elected officials."

Also in May, she attended the White County Republicans' Lincoln Day Dinner. “Fantastic crowd at the Lincoln Day Dinner in Carmi last evening,” Bryant wrote on Facebook. “Big crowd joining great candidates, all discussing the upcoming Illinois Primary Election.”
