Maple Syrup Festival and Pancake Breakfast
From sugar maples to our tables! The annual Maple Syrup Festival and Pancake Breakfast at Touch of Nature will be held Saturday and Sunday, March. 26-27.Usually held the last weekend in February, this year's Festival was moved back over safety concerns regarding COVID.
The event will feature vendors, activities for all ages, and of course pancakes and homemade maple syrup. This year’s festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Touch of Nature’s Camp 2. A host of activities offer those in attendance a chance to learn more about the food they are eating and learn about new and old trades from skilled craftsmen. Maple syrup demonstrations, and outdoor environmental education activities and interpretive hikes will be held throughout both days. There will also be children’s activities each day.
The breakfast featuring homemade pancakes and maple syrup harvested at Touch of Nature, as well as pork sausage from will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets purchased in advance are $12 for ages 14 and older and $6 for ages 6-13. Children 5 and under eat for free. Tickets may be purchased online to receive the discounted rate prior to the Festival.
