Motion made by Alderman Shoemake, seconded by Alderman Crompton to approve the minutes of May 26, 2020 Council Meeting. Alderman Shoemake, Crompton, York, Miller, Kinley, Sizemore and Ahlgren voted "Yea”. None voted "Nay". Alderman Ruppel had technical difficulties.

RESOLUTION 19-2020 COMMITMENT OF LOCAL FUNDS REBUILD ILLINOIS GRANT
Motion made by Alderman Shoemake, seconded by Alderman Kinley to pass Resolution 19-2020 Commitment of Local Funds for Rebuild Illinois Grant. Alderman Shoemake, Crompton, York, Miller, Kinley, Şizemore, Ruppel and Ahlgren voted "Yea. None voted "Nay".
RESOLUTION 20-2020 DECLARING UNLAWFUL DISTRIBUTION OF PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES HAS CREATED NUISANCE & HEALTH CONCERNS
Motion made by Alderman Miller, seconded by Alderman Ahlgren to pass Resolution 20-2020 Declaring Unlawful Distribution of Prescription Controlled Substances has created a public nuisance and serious public health & safety crisis for the citizens of Herrin. Alderman Crompton, York, Miller, Kinley, Sizemore, Ruppel, Ahlgren and Shoemake voted “Yea". None voted "Nay".
RESIDENTIAL ELECTRIC AGGREGATION
Mayor stated that our current aggregation contract will expire in December and we will soon be reaching out for bids as well as talks on continuing.
PROJECTED DATE FOR REOPENING CITY BUILDINGS
Mayor stated that the plan is to reopen city buildings on Monday, June 29 under phase 4 guidelines. The plans are to have any future meetings back at city hall.
COUNCIL
Alderman Kinley apologized for his previous outburst. Gary & Diane Wade have contacted him regarding A tree that is a safety hazard at the neighbors. Address will be giving to Tom. There is a hydrant at Hemlock & 17th that needs mowed around.
Alderman Sizemore asked about the food trucks. They have to have a permit and they pay taxes as transient merchant.
