Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Jan. 29.

Motion made by Ron Ellis and seconded by Brent Gentry, approving the purchase of 20 computers from CDS Office Technologies. Amanda Barnes, County Clerk, will purchase 11 of 16 computers from her automation fund. Commissioners will purchase remaining 5. Jeff Robinson, Supervisor of Assessments, will purchase 4 computers from his automation fund. Total of 20 computers to be purchased. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
An Ordinance Establishing Requirements and Procedures for Building Permit Application. Tabled
Motion made by Ron Ellis and seconded by Brent Gentry, approving RESOLUTION NO. 20-01-29-06 WILLIAMSON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH “708” BOARD APPOINTMENT FOR JIM MARLO. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried. Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Ron Ellis, approving Travel Reimbursement for Jim Marlo in the amount of $233.67. Roll call vote was taken as follows:
Jim Marlo, Abstain; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present two voting Yea; motion carried.
Commissioner Gentry gave an update on the Walkers Bluff meeting he had for road construction.
Commissioner Marlo gave an update on his meeting with the EPA concerning Whiteash.
Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Ron Ellis to move into Executive Session at 11:10 a.m. according to 5ILCS120/2(c)(6). Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Jim Marlo going back into Regular Session at 11:36 a.m. Roll call vote was taken as follow: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Ron Ellis, Yea. All members present voting Yea. Motion carried.
