CARBONDALE NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES PERSONNEL BOARD: Home Invasion Investigation

Carbondale Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Personnel Board recently issued the following announcement.

On 11-13-2019 at approximately 6:01 p.m., City of Carbondale Police Officers responded to the 900 block of East Park Street in reference to a report of a home invasion. Officers learned at 5:30 p.m. two suspects entered the residence, one of which displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspects stole property and then fled on foot in an unknown direction of travel. The suspects are described as the following

Suspect #1) A black male around 6' tall and 25 years old and an athletic build, wearing a black sweatshirt and dark jeans with a hat on and the hood pulled up. The suspect displayed a small, gray semi-automatic handgun.

Suspect #2) A black male around 5'9" tall and 20 years old, wearing a dark/black hoodie with jeans and the hood pulled up.

The investigation is currently active and ongoing.
