CARBONDALE NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES PERSONNEL BOARD: UPDATE - Oakland Avenue Road Closure

Document

Carbondale Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Personnel Board recently issued the following announcement.

Due to water main construction, Oakland Avenue, from Mill to Chautauqua streets, will be closed to thru traffic starting Monday, May 20 and will continue until this segment of work is complete. The street will be open to local traffic only and access to private driveways will be maintained.

The City apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation as we work to bring better water service to our customers.

If you have any questions, call the Project Construction Supervisor Robin Pengress at (618) 457-3270.

“Carbondale prides itself on providing its visitors, students, businesses and residents with a unique mix of edge and ease. It’s a cultural town, yet free of pretense, embracing the great outdoors as readily as urban sophistication. Here, we are open to new ideas, experiences and cultures, so you are encouraged to both express yourself and be yourself, in all ways. That’s Carbondale…All Ways Open… for family, fun, business, new ideas and a bright tomorrow.”
