De Soto home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in De Soto fell by $2,500 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $74,000 - a 3.3% decrease over the $76,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in De Soto in April 2016.

The median sales tax in De Soto for 2017 was $1,754. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,754, as well. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
