Murphysboro home prices fall in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Murphysboro fell by $12,950 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $39,250 - a 24.8% decrease over the $52,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Murphysboro in January 2016.
