De Soto home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in De Soto rose by $4,450 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $56,500 - a 8.5% increase over the $52,050 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in De Soto in the second quarter of 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in De Soto for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,754.50, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
