Herrin Hospital recently issued the following announcement.
Breastfeeding is more than just a way to feed a baby!! Learn the many benefits that breastfeeding provides to both baby and mother. A certified Lactation Consultant will share information on the art of breastfeeding and give suggestions to help get breastfeeding off to a good start.
Following the Breastfeeding Basics Class, mothers have the option of staying for an additional session designed to help them to continue breastfeeding after returning to work. Class participants will hear tips on incorporating breastfeeding into their daily life and learn helpful hints when using a breast pump.
