A. Council approval of revisions to Intergovernmental Cooperation Agreement between Marion Community Unit School District #2 and City of Marion with Respect to School Resource Officer Agreement.

1. Ordinance 3453 – Ordinance approving/authorizing the City of Marion to enter into a loan agreement with First Southern Bank to borrow funds in the amount not to exceed $164,300.00 to finance the following:

Police Department – 3 Police SUV’s plus equipment

Street Department – Ford F250 4×4 plus service body

Cemetery Department – Ford F150 Truck

Mosquito Department – Cost of half of a Pickup Truck (Other half to be paid for with Sewer Department funds.

911/EMA Department – Ford Edge SUV (used)

HUB Recreation Center

2. a. Council approval of Resignation of Full-Time Employee

Council approval of the resignation of Rashad Rucker as Sports and Recreation coordinator effective as July 2, 2018.

b. Council approval of Part-time Employee Recommendations

Daniel Gundlach – Lifeguard $9.50/hour.

Brett Blair – Security Officer $15.00/hour.

Abigail Moore – Childwatch $9.00/hour, Café Attendant $9.00/hour, Front

Desk Attendant $9.00/hour.

c. Council approval of Additional Job Classification

3. Council approval of appointment of Elva Prince to Boyton Street Community Center Board.

Right – Of – Way Dedication Of South Half Way Road

4. Ordinance 3454 – Ordinance approving and accepting the Right of Way Dedication of the west half of South Halfway Road from West Main Street to Westminster Road, Grantors – Fluck LTD Partnership.

5. Ordinance 3455 – Ordinance approving and accepting the Right of way Dedication of the east half of South Halfway Road from West Main Street to Westminster Road, Grantors – Crisp Realty Co.

Training Center

6. Discuss the current policy of paying $26.69 per hour to open and close the Training Center four nights a week. Council approval to change this policy and to hire a part-time janitor to clean the Training Center as needed.
