Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:

Call to Order

Tiffany Droege called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.

Approval of November 2017 Minutes

Mary Smith motioned to approve the November minutes, Mary Beil second. Motion carried.

Unfinished Business

There was no unfinished business.

New Business

Ellen Popit, IHLS Staff provided information on the following topics:

• There is not yet information available from the RAILS Beta Testing of their Membership Standards

• We have not yet received membership application from the East St. Louis or Greenview School Districts.

• We have had a Membership inquiry regarding reestablishing a library in Washington Park, IL.

• An appointment will be set up to discuss system services with Morthland College

• After one week of the annual certification process be open to libraries, 77 IHLS libraries have completed the process.

There was also a discussion among committee members regarding new hires and what information is shared with the board in the staff update. Tiffany Droege agreed to move the conversation forward.
