Carmel Catholic High School graduate Zavier Barnes had one tackle in Saginaw Valley Cardinals football's 42-24 win Sept. 2 over the Alderson Broaddus Battlers.

Barnes is a 6-3, 205 pound sophomore linebacker from Mundelein.

Up next: Saginaw Valley Cardinals football plays hosts Walsh Cavaliers football on Sept. 9.
