One campaign committee in Carbondale has overdue fines amounting to a total of $275, records obtained by the Carbondale Reporter show.
A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Citizens for Competitive Electricity was the only campaign committee in Carbondale that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.
The largest fine that Citizens for Competitive Electricity has yet to pay was imposed on July 22, 2014, for a late A-1 report. The amount of this fine alone is $200.
