Village of Bradley Public Works & Parks Tuesday, February 2, 2016 5:00 PM

Members Present: Trustee Gadbois, Trustee Cyr, Trustee Watson & Supt Bessler

Public Comment - None

Salt Shed - Supt Bessler presented the committee with photos of the current condition of the salt shed located near the Public Works Building. This shed cover has been replaced three different times at an average cost of $4,000 each replacement. Capacity, design and location of the current 2 sheds along with the extra mound of salt currently covered are the topic for this discussion. Given the low usuage of salt this year and the budgeted funds that are not going to be used Supt Bessler wanted to bring a long term opportunity and solution to the committee.

Please see attached proposed Public Works Campus design for relocating the salt shed as well as the salt purchase and usage history and a sample design of a new salt shed.

Committee discussed at length the information provided and Trustee Watson made the motion to bring to the fullboard the request to go out for bid on a new salt structure not to exceed $60,000 along with the request that in the bid packet submitters provide a “how to" video to construct the shed, Trustee Cyr second the motion,

Allin Favor - motion passed.
