The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:
Tim Atkisson, Commissioner
Jim Marlo, Commissioner
Jim Rasor, Commissioner
Justin Sexton and Kevin Reichert, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, were present to discuss a Dam Modification Study that will be taking place in August and will run for 18 months. The study will affect the region of Crab Orchard Lake and Grassy Road. Residents from the community were present to ask questions.
A five minute recess was taken after the discussion and meeting continued at 9:49 a.m.
Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving cost estimate proposal for Eggemeyer Associates Architects. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving FOP Deputy Bargaining Unit Contract. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving RESOLUTION NO. 24-05-21-73 RESOLUTION OF ROADSIDE SAFETY GOALS. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Motion made by Jim Rasor and seconded by Jim Marlo, moving into Executive Session citing 5ILCS 120/2(c)(5). Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Meeting opened at 10:31 a.m. with the following present: Tim Atkisson, Jim Marlo, and Jim Rasor.
