On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Murphysboro High School standout Sarah Cook’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, lost 10-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
The game took place at Nusz Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium against Central Arkansas Bears.
