Murphysboro High School, part of the Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 in Jackson County, Illinois, has recently shared updates and announcements on its official Twitter account regarding student achievements, upcoming events, and school orientation.

On August 8, 2025, the school posted a message of encouragement: "Proud of you Shelby Cook!!!"

Two days later, on August 10, 2025, Murphysboro High School promoted an event for students and community members: "Devil Dazzler Golf Scramble! Don’t miss our 2nd Annual 'Devil Dazzlers' Halloween Golf Scramble, with awards for the best costume! Saturday, October 11th, Tee Time @ 9am Let us know if you’d like to get a team together!"
