CARBONDALE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: CCA to host Lingering , the first in the Community Without Bounds Performative Art Series

Carbondale Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Carbondale Community Arts is thrilled to host Lingering , the first in the Community

Without Bounds Performative Art Series at Artspace 304 with artists Haley

Gaertner, Elyse Hickey, and Dorothy Evans.

Lingering is a night of performance art focused on highlighting the work of emerging

local artists. Each artist will perform an original performance piece for thirty minutes with

a short intermission in between each piece. The first performance will begin at 5 pm on

Friday, September 21 st. The evening’s performances focus on themes of femininity and

lasting touch, both physical and emotional. The show will be interactive and the

audience is encouraged to participate via the artist’s instructions.

This series is free and open to the public, come engage with nontraditional mediums

and an experiential art form!

Artspace 304 located at 304 W Walnut St, downtown Carbondale, open during gallery hours

Wednesday - Thursday 11 AM - 5 PM, and Friday 11 AM - 7 PM, by appointment, and during all CCA public programs and events.
