Plainfield North's Ekowa has two touchdown passes in Minnesota St. Mavericks football win

Plainfield North graduate JD Ekowa had 49 passing yards, two touchdown passes, 10 pass attempts, five completions, 21 rushing yards and three rush attempts in Minnesota St. Mavericks football's 56-19 win Sept. 9 over the Minn.-Crookston Golden Eagles at Blakeslee Stadium.

Ekowa is a 6-1, 205 pound freshman quarterback from Plainfield.
