La Crosse High School graduate Sheldon Schmidt had one sack, four tackles, one solo tackle for a loss and one assisted tackle for a loss in Fort Hays St. Tigers football's 35-6 loss Sept. 7 to the Central Mo. Mules at Lewis Field.

Schmidt is a 6-3, 250 pound sophomore defensive lineman from La Crosse.
