Spero Family Services in Mt. Vernon has been recognized for achieving CARE certification, a distinction awarded to only 25 organizations worldwide using the Cornell model of CARE.
Illinois State Representative Dave Severin attended the event celebrating this accomplishment. Severin stated, “I was honored to attend SPERO’s presentation earlier this week. The 200+ employees at Spero do a fantastic job, and our community is blessed to have them here!”
Severin, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 and represents the state’s 116th House District, succeeding David Friess.
