Southern Illinois football players earn multiple All-American honors after 2025 season

Three members of the Southern Illinois University football team have received All-American honors following the 2025 season. Cornerback Jeremiah McClendon, quarterback DJ Williams, and kicker/punter Paul Geelen were each recognized by several organizations.

Williams and McClendon were named to the FCS Football Central All-American Third Team. The Associated Press also included three SIU players in its All-America teams announced on Tuesday, with McClendon earning a spot on the second team and Williams and Geelen receiving honorable mentions.

The Stats Perform FCS All-America teams, released on Wednesday, recognized all three athletes as well. McClendon was selected for the second team, while Williams and Geelen were chosen for the third team.
