State Senator Terri Bryant, representing the 58th Senate District in Illinois, has announced her committee assignments for the 104th General Assembly. She will continue to serve as Assistant Republican Leader within the Illinois Senate Republican Caucus.

“I am honored to retain the role of Assistant Republican Leader,” said Senator Bryant. “My focus remains on improving the lives of those I represent and securing a brighter future for all families in our state.”

Senator Bryant’s committee assignments include Agriculture, Appropriations – Education, Appropriations – Public Safety and Infrastructure, Behavioral and Mental Health (as Minority Spokesperson), Criminal Law, Energy and Public Utilities (as Minority Spokesperson), and Higher Education.

“These committee positions provide an opportunity to advocate for policies that address the needs of Southern Illinois and the state as a whole,” continued Senator Bryant. “I’m ready to get to work and find solutions that will make a real difference in the lives of our residents.”

Since joining the Illinois Senate in 2021, Senator Bryant has represented parts or all of Edwards, Franklin, Hamilton, Jackson, Jefferson, Marion, Monroe, Perry, Randolph, St. Claire, Wabash, Washington, Wayne, and White counties.
