On Thursday, Feb. 20, former Carbondale Community High School standout Eli Dyer’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Thursday, Feb. 20, former Carbondale Community High School standout Eli Dyer’s current college team, the Quincy Hawks, lost 14-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.

The game took place at Hurricane Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hurricanes this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at Hurricane Stadium against Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes.
