On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Marion High School standout Trevor Jackson’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, lost 11-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Tar Heels this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 5:05 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against North Carolina Tar Heels.
