On Friday, Feb. 7, former Carbondale Community High School standout Eli Dyer’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 7, former Carbondale Community High School standout Eli Dyer’s current college team, the Quincy Hawks, lost 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.

The game took place at Lamar Hennon Field. This was their first matchup against the Railsplitters this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at Lamar Hennon Field against Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.
