Murphysboro High School reported several athletic outcomes on its official Twitter account between March 18 and March 19, 2026. The posts provided updates on varsity baseball, girls soccer, and boys track events involving the school’s Red Devils teams.

On March 18, Murphysboro HS announced a loss for its varsity baseball team: “Red Devils Varsity Baseball loses to Marion, 0-10!”

Later that evening, the school shared a win in girls soccer: “Red Devils Girls Soccer Win Season Opener at Mascoutah, 3-0!” (March 19).

On the morning of March 19, Murphysboro HS highlighted individual achievements from the boys track team at an indoor meet: “Red Devils Boys Track at Field of Champions Meet at Marion Indoor! Murphysboro throwing farther, jumping higher, and vaulting into the season stronger than ever! Congratulations to Jonas Schaldemose placing 2nd and DaeJohn Beard placing third!”
