Murphysboro High School reported recent victories for its Red Devils Volleyball Program in a series of posts on its official X (formerly Twitter) account. The posts detailed the team’s success at home and on the road during the week of October 8, 2025.

On October 8, 2025, Murphysboro High School posted, “Congratulations to the Red Devils Volleyball Program as all 3 levels defeated Herrin at HOME last night! Devils are now on the road for the next 2 nights (Mt. Vernon, then Goreville)!” Later that day, the school shared a link in a separate post: “https://t.co/TXYEAuvu5G”.

The following day, October 9, Murphysboro High School provided an update on the team’s away performance: “Red Devil Varsity Volleyball wins on the Road at Mt. Vernon!!! JV wins, while frosh falls! Good Luck tomorrow at Goreville!!!”

Murphysboro High School is part of Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186, which serves Jackson County and includes several schools such as Carruthers Elementary School and Murphysboro Middle School.
