In an early morning post, Murphysboro High School highlighted the ongoing success of its wrestling team, stating: “Red Devils Wrestling Team continues to roll…” (December 10, 2025).
Later that day, the school announced recognition for student-athletes in fall sports with a list of award recipients: “Here is the list of Award Winners for the 2025-26 Red Devils Fall Sport Athletes & Teams…” (December 10, 2025).
The school also reported on the girls’ basketball team’s recent performance against Herrin: “Murphysboro GBK falls to the Tigers of Herrin. Lianna Sherrill and Shameria Joshua-Ayers lead Red Devils in scoring!” (December 10, 2025).
