Murphysboro High School recognized several students for their achievements in a series of social media posts on March 26, 2026.
The school congratulated three students for sustained commitment: “4-year Dedication Award Winners! Congratulations, Olivia Sunny, Madison Voss, and Regan Mason!” (posted March 26, 2026).
Athletic accomplishments were also highlighted. On the same day, Murphysboro High School posted: “Congrats, Ashlynn Presutti! Girls Basketball Floor General Award Winner.” (March 26, 2026). Another post recognized another athlete: “Congrats, Mariah Jordan! Girls Basketball Hustle Award Winner.” (March 26, 2026).
Murphysboro High School is part of the Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186, which serves Jackson County and includes several schools such as Carruthers Elementary School and Murphysboro Middle School. The district covers grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade and enrolled nearly 2,000 students during the 2019-2020 school year.
