Murphysboro High School recently used its social media platform to acknowledge community support for its athletic and extracurricular programs. The school posted several messages on October 7, 2025, expressing gratitude to local sponsors and volunteers.

Later that day, the school recognized the contributions of a local business, writing at 4:18 p.m.: “A huge Red Devil shoutout to our 12th Man Sponsor last week – South Paw Bar and Grill! The 12th Man made sure our team was fueled up before Friday’s game, and we are so thankful for their continued support. Thank you to South Paw for always supporting Red Devil Football!”

One minute later, appreciation was extended to parent volunteers: “Thank You Crimson Express Band Boosters for volunteering your time to keep the snacks and drinks coming Friday night. Big thanks to the Band Boosters for helping fuel the Red Devil spirit!”

Murphysboro High School is part of Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186, which serves Jackson County and includes several schools such as Carruthers Elementary School and Murphysboro Middle School.
