Murphysboro High School has recently highlighted achievements and updates from its athletic teams through a series of posts on its official Twitter account.
On January 10, 2026, the school recognized the boys wrestling team’s success with a post stating, “Congratulations Coach Baker and the Boys Wrestling team on winning the Murdale Tournament!”
A day later, on January 11, 2026, Murphysboro High School shared another update via a tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/CEgClkaSQR”
On January 12, 2026, the school provided an update about its girls basketball team: “Murphysboro GBK falls to Anna. Shameria Joshua-Ayers leads Red Devils scorers with 29pts. Career point total moves to 957! Next game is at Home, Monday, versus Massac County!”
