On February 22, 2026, Murphysboro HS posted: “Congratulations Julien Tanner on placing 6th at the IHSA Individual Wrestling State Finals!” The school continued by acknowledging another athlete in a post made moments later: “Congratulations Caybren Hubbard on placing 4th at the IHSA Individual Wrestling State Finals!” Shortly after, a third tweet read: “Congratulations Draven Bramlett on placing 3rd at the IHSA Individual Wrestling State Finals!”
Murphysboro High School is part of Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186, which serves students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade in Harrison and Jackson County.
