Murphysboro High School reported on its official Twitter account a victory for the Red Devils Girls Soccer Team, maintaining their undefeated and unscored-upon record in the current season.

On April 2, 2026, Murphysboro HS posted: “20:47 left in game, Kate Guthman gives the Red Devils Girls Soccer Team a 3-0 lead over Carterville!” On the same date, a subsequent update confirmed the team’s continued success: “Red Devils Girls Soccer Team remains undefeated and unscored upon with a 3-0 Victory at Carterville. Devils improve to (6-0, 3-0). Goals: Cama Woosley, Lily Cunningham-Elders, and Kate Guthman. Callie Decker 2 assists https://t.co/VtYuMkyGKi”

Murphysboro High School is part of Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186.
