On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Marion High School standout Karsten Stotlar’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at Presley Askew Field. This was their third matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex against Alabama State Hornets.
