Carbondale Liquor Commission OKs license transfer after business sold

At a recent meeting, the Carbondale Local Liquor Control Commission approved the transfer of a business's license to the new owner.

LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION

SPECIAL MEETING

February 29, 2016

The Local Liquor Control Commission held a meeting on Monday, February 29, 2016, in City Council

Chambers, Room 103 of the Civic Center, 200 S. Illinois Avenue. Chairman John M. Henry called the

meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. with the following-named members of the Commission present/absent:

1. Roll Call

Present: Commissioner Jessica Bradshaw, Commissioner Lee Fronabarger, Commissioner Tom

Grant, Commissioner Navreet Kang, and Chairman John M. Henry

Absent: Commissioners Carolin Harvey and Adam Loos

Also present were City Clerk Jennifer Sorrell, Fire Chief Theodore Lomax, and Interim City Manager

Gary Williams.

2. Transfer of ownership from Andrea Barclay and William Cook, as partners, d/b/a Global

Gourmet to Global Gourmet, LLC d/b/a Global Gourmet at 102 East Jackson Street

MOTION: Commissioner Grant moved, Commissioner Bradshaw seconded, to approve the transfer of

ownership from Andrea Barclay and William Cook, as partners, to Global Gourmet, LLC. DISCUSSION:

None. VOTE: Ayes: J. Bradshaw, L. Fronabarger, T. Grant, N. Kang, and J. Henry. Nays: None. Motion

declared carried.

3. Citizens’ Comments

None.

4. Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the Local Liquor Control Commission, Chairman Henry

declared the meeting adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
